EOOS, the European Ocean Observing System, is a coordinating framework designed to align and integrate Europe’s ocean observing capacity, promote a systematic and collaborative approach to collecting information on the state and variability of our seas, and underpin sustainable management of the marine environment and its resources.
In May 2021, ECRA was contacted by the EOOS Secretariat in order to join the EOOS Advisory Committee. The Chair of ECRA, Prof. Peter Braesicke has now accepted this important role in the EOOS ecosystem. Congratulations to his new role and ECRA's engagement in EOOS.
